Posted 2/1/2015

Today I want to share with you 3 homemade molasses based mask, to nourish your hair and promote hair growth.

My personal experience with molasses have been wonderful, like I said before nourish your hair, promote hair growth and moist, in a few words, your hair will be transform; something important is to include the molasses in your hair regimen, once or twice a month, in order to get very good results

Blackstrap Molasses, to grow thick hairBlackstrap Molasses, to grow thick hairA lot of people have problems to grow their hair, sometimes just one part of your hair growths, sometimes your hair does  grow,  but after some point will break or will look very thin, if that is your case these  3 homemade mask are for you.

I will share with you how I use the molasses before washing my hair.

Mask #1

Take 3 tablespoon of molasses, mix very well, then apply generously from roots to ends, wrap your hair, put a plastic cap and let the mask soak in, for at least 40 minutes, then wash as usual. The mask can be applied to dry or wet hair. With this one I prefer to wet my hair before.

Mask #2

Mix in a container 3 tablespoon of molasses, 3 tablespoon of your favorite deep conditioner and finally add 3 teaspoon of coconut oil, wrap your hair, cover with a plastic cap and let the mask soak in for at least 35 minutes. This one is my favorite mask, because it deep moisturizes my hair. So, I recommend you to be very careful and choose very well the conditioner, if you choose well, that would be the bomb for your hair. Then wash as usual.

Mask #3

Choose  the amount of your preference of molasses, depending in how thick and long your hair is, take a half of a cup of milk,  then mix together the ingredients, whatever kind of milk, in my country people like to use evaporated milk. Let it sit for at least 35 minutes, then wash as usual.

These three masks will fortify your hair from top to bottom and you will get amazing results, totally recommend it.

I will keep you post with some articles about how good the molasses is and the benefits I have been getting from it, during my pregnancy, breastfeeding, lack of iron in my blood, etc.
